If you’re looking to improve your health and become more active, then a good fitness tracker could be just what you need. It can help you keep track of your progress and provide insight into how you’re doing. A fitness tracker can measure various aspects of your health, such as your heart rate and blood oxygen levels. Some models can also provide on-demand electrocardiogram readings. With a variety of features, fitness trackers can also be used to pay for food, play music, and answer texts. Choosing the right one can take time due to the number of gadgets available. I tested different models by running, biking, swimming, and sleeping to find the best fitness tracker.

Fitbit Charge 5

The latest model from Fitbit, the Charge 5, has various exciting features usually reserved for high-end devices. During my testing, I found that its always-on display significantly improved over the previous model, the Charge 4. However, I found it difficult to use due to the lack of physical buttons.

One of the most interesting features of the Charge 5 is its Daily Readiness Score, which lets users know if they’re ready for a big workout. It takes into account various factors such as fitness fatigue, heart rate variability, and recent sleep.

Fitbit Inspire 3

The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a great cheap fitness tracker that can provide accurate heart rate monitoring and tracking of sleep stages. Although it doesn’t have a built-in GPS, it still has plenty of features, such as its passionate community and the ability to compete with other people.

You can get the Fitbit Inspire 3 for $100 with various features, such as its Active Zone Minutes metric and ten days of battery life. It also comes with a beautiful OLED display. The device is black and comes in three different band colors: lilac, black, and morning glow. The large and small sizes of the band are available.

Amazfit Band 5

Although it’s a cheap fitness tracker, the Amazfit Band 5 has many features found in high-end smartwatches. It can provide a variety of health-related functions, such as monitoring blood oxygen levels and sleep patterns.

The Amazfit Band 5’s sleep and fitness tracking was good, but it wasn’t great, and it was more affordable than some of the other models. Its 15-day battery life was also very useful, allowing me to use it without charging it all the time.

Garmin Forerunner 255

One of our favorites is the Garmin Forerunner 255. The company’s new mid-range running watch has onboard storage, allowing users to store their music and leave their phones behind when they run. It also has a recovery advisor that can calculate your V02 max score.
